When do you start Antenatal Classes? These birth preparation classes are available as a weekly class or six week course. They are suitable from the 14th week of pregnancy. However the six week courses are more appropriate from around your 24th week onwards. Classes and courses are open to all mums-to-be including:
Six week courses focus mainly on birth preparation and there is less yoga. The weekly classes have a longer session of yoga based exercise and relaxation. (Please note, these classes are for women only, if you would like to attend a class with your partner see my birth preparation workshops for couples page).
If the times / dates of classes below aren't suitable for you I am able to provide one-to-one sessions, please contact me to discuss.
You are entitled to paid time off work for antenatal and relaxation classes (which includes yoga) - some employers will require a letter from your doctor though.
“This has prepared me in a way I never considered before - I feel empowered and able to express my views / desires in hospital” (Lizzy)
